Today I stumbled on this Ada Programming tutorial, from a website called functionx.com. I’m not familiar with this website, but the tutorial seems nice enough, dealing mostly with the very basic stuff, as the title also implies.
The tutorial is focused on using GNAT Programming Studio on Windows, but the Ada stuff is equally viable on other platforms.
What I really like about this tutorial, is how it takes the reader through the rather daunting affair of setting up an initial project file, using the GPS wizard. This is not something you see in most tutorials, even though it’s not exactly easy to figure out what to select amongst the huge amount of settings available.
I’ve added this tutorial to our Ada Resources page and to the featured link rotation.
